THE SHOALS COMMUNITY THEATRE

Opened in 1948 as a movie theatre, The Shoals Community Theatre is owned and operated by the 501(c)3 Shoals Community Theatre, Inc. This is one of the premiere venues in Florence, Alabama for plays, concerts, and events. The theatre has hosted acts such as Rosanne Cash, Preservation Jazz Hall, Jason Isbell & The Unit, Billy Bob Thornton, Anderson East, Travis Tritt, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Dawes, The Alabama Shakes, and more! We have been the in-house photographers since 2017.

MUSCLE SHOALS TO MUSIC ROW

Muscle Shoals to Music Row "Live" is a 2 hour live radio broadcast/webcast showcasing Hit Songwriters & Artists between these two cities and across the nation! Since it began many of Country Music's hit songwriters and artists have appeared on the show. To date over 1 million streams have been provided for the live webcast and archived videos. The show is a product of the Sam Phillips Music Corporation. Created with the same pioneer spirit as their legendary owner Sam Phillips. Muscle Shoals to Music Row was picked up for syndication by Alabama Public Television in 2017.  We started working with Muscle Shoals To Music Row in February of 2018.

SET MAGAZINE

SET is a publication in Florence, AL by and for local young people dedicated to lifestyle, finance, technology and community. It is published by Listerhill Credit Union as part of its ongoing mission to promote the credit union philosophy of cooperation and financial literacy. It is a platform for 15-20 somethings in the community, and it is free. Coan Creations has been a contributor since 2016.

THE HELEN KELLER FESTIVAL

Each year in June, the town of Tuscumbia pays tribute to one of its heroic natives with a six-day celebration attracting thousands of visitors from across the country.  The annual Helen Keller Festival offers a variety of family-friendly events including a parade and street party, a car and truck show, live music, arts and crafts, sporting activities, and cemetery tours while celebrating the life of Helen Keller and her remarkable achievements in overcoming a world of silence.  All activities take place in Spring Park in downtown Tuscumbia unless otherwise noted.
The annual event is centered on the Helen Keller Festival Market featuring handcrafted items, original artwork, local boutiques and activities for children on the North Bank of Spring Park. From noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, festivalgoers can shop for original works of art and reproductions by artists from across the Southeast.  For children, the Imagination Station offers fun, creative hands-on activities.  On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., children can create their own works of art with a little imagination and some unexpected materials to take home as a souvenir.  Additional activities include a car and truck show in downtown Tuscumbia, a five mile and one mile fun run, a golf tournament, live music and guided walking tours of downtown Tuscumbia.

Americana Highways is a digital magazine collecting the stories of Americana, Alt-Americana, and roots rock music. We started working with Americana Highways in 2017 through our mutual love of North Alabama artists. Since then, we have covered numerous events for Americana Highways.
